Blue Iron Oxide, also known as iron blue or Prussian blue, is an inorganic pigment made from ferrous salts and ferricyanides through precipitation reaction, filtration and drying, mainly composed of ferrous ferricyanide with content ≥90%, color fastness ≥7 grade and light fastness ≥6 grade. With particle size 0.5–4μm, it ranges in shade from deep blue to navy blue, with strong hiding power. Widely used in coloring coatings, inks and paper, as well as rust-proof color matching of industrial coatings, it is an important category of blue inorganic pigments.
