Yellow Iron Oxide is an inorganic pigment made from ferrous sulfate through wet precipitation, oxidation, filtration, drying and grinding, mainly composed of hydrous ferric oxide (Fe₂O₃·H₂O) with content ≥85%, color fastness ≥8 grade and light fastness ≥7 grade. With particle size 0.2–3μm, it ranges in shade from lemon yellow to ochre yellow, with excellent tinting strength and dispersibility. Widely used in coloring coatings, rubber and plastics, as well as color matching in papermaking and ceramics, it is the most used category of yellow inorganic pigments.
