Red Iron Oxide is an inorganic pigment made from iron filings or iron ore through dry calcination or wet precipitation, mainly composed of ferric oxide (Fe₂O₃) with content ≥95%, color fastness ≥8 grade and light fastness ≥8 grade. With particle size 0.1–5μm, it ranges in shade from bright red to dark red, with tinting strength ≥100%. Widely used in coloring coatings, building materials, plastics and inks, it is the largest output and most widely applied category of inorganic pigments, with advantages of color stability and environmental protection.
