Bentonite is a clay mineral mainly composed of montmorillonite, made from natural bentonite ore through mineral processing, crushing, sodium modification, drying and grinding, with montmorillonite content ≥80%, expansion multiple ≥20 times (sodium-based), and cation exchange capacity ≥80meq/100g. Divided into three categories: sodium-based bentonite, calcium-based bentonite and organic bentonite, it has excellent water absorption and expansion, bonding, adsorption and suspension properties. Widely used as drilling mud thickener, sewage treatment adsorbent, foundry binder and coating suspending agent, it plays a key role in petroleum exploitation, environmental protection and metallurgy fields.
